Are you a David or a Saul?

In 1 Samuel 21-24, we see another contrast between David and Saul. Both of them seek God consistently, but they do it in completely different ways.

David seeks God’s direction before he acts, but Saul decides what he is going to do and then he asks God to give him success in that.

I think we live in a culture where we have a lot more Sauls than we have Davids. Our natural human tendency is to make our own plans and then ask God to bless them rather than seeking out God’s plans and following them. Will you be a David?
